Der Transfer dauert ungefähr 20 Minuten und in dieser Zeit erklärt Ihnen ein erfahrener Guide alles, was Sie über das Leben und die Gewohnheiten der Schildkröten wissen müssen, sowie die Regeln, die Sie beachten müssen. Am Strand angekommen bleibt einer der Guides bei Ihnen im Sand sitzen, während der andere Guide mit der Suche nach der Schildkröte beginnt. Wenn der Guide eine Schildkröte findet, werden Sie per UKW-Funk informiert und gehen am Strand entlang, um zur Schildkröte zu gelangen. Es wird empfohlen, ein Strandtuch mitzubringen, um es beim Warten am Strand bequemer zu machen. Empfohlen werden dunkle Kleidung und geschlossene Schuhe. An den geschützten Stränden ist es verboten, mit Blitz zu fotografieren und weißes oder helles Licht zu verwenden.
