Program Description

Transfer from hotels to watch the sunrise at Jhabal Shams! Jhabal Shams, or 'Mountain of the Sun', is the highest mountain in Oman and one of the most popular viewpoints. Stunning views of the Wadi Nakhr Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, along with a mild climate for most of the year and exciting trekking routes make this place one of the most visited by tourists and locals alike. The excursion programme includes a trek along the undemanding route known as the Balcony Walk. The walk starts in the village of Al Khitaym and leads down along the edge of the canyon. Along the way you will see many stalls set up by the locals and enjoy the spectacular views. Return to the hotels.
