Program Description

The Stone Town is a presentation of the rich culture and history of Zanzibar, where little has changed in the last 200 years. Here, every building, every window and door tells its own story. The city is a symbol of the fight against slavery, as it was one of the main centers of the slave trade in East Africa. Walk through the narrow streets of Stone Town, visit the city market, free time for shopping. Afterwards visit to one of the largest plantations in Zanzibar, where vanilla, coconuts, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, nutmeg, herbs, ornamental plants and tropical fruits are grown.

The trip was very successful. A great deal of credit goes to Amir, who was our guide and, in addition to speaking Polish very well, had a lot of knowledge about the places we visited.

This is not a plantation, just a garden. Nothing interesting to see.
