Program Description
Combine Alpine wildlife with breathtaking mountain scenery thanks to the Top of Innsbruck PLUS Ticket. This experience includes a visit to Alpenzoo, one of Europe’s highest zoos, as well as a ride on the Nordkettenbahnen cable cars to the Top of Innsbruck, where spectacular Alpine views await.
Begin your visit at Alpenzoo Innsbruck, located around 750 metres above sea level. Covering 4 hectares, the zoo is home to around 2,000 animals from approximately 150 species. It offers a unique opportunity to discover wildlife typical of the Alpine region in surroundings inspired by their natural habitats.
Continue your journey with the Innsbruck Nordkettenbahnen, which takes you high above the city in around 20 minutes. As you ascend towards Hafelekarspitze, located at approximately 2,300 metres, watch the urban landscape transform into impressive mountain scenery.
At the top, enjoy unforgettable views of the Nordkette mountain range and, with a little luck, spot some of the local wildlife. The Top of Innsbruck PLUS Ticket is the perfect choice for those who want to experience Alpine nature, spectacular views and the unique atmosphere of the Nordkette in one visit.
