Program Description
Discover one of the most fascinating sites in China and step into a history that spans over two thousand years. This full-day experience gives you the opportunity to explore the remarkable legacy of imperial China and visit the key landmarks of one of its former capitals.
Your day begins with a convenient hotel pick-up, followed by a journey to one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological sites – the Terracotta Army Museum. Here, you will see thousands of life-sized warriors, horses and chariots, created to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor. Walking through the vast excavation halls, you will uncover the scale and detail of this incredible discovery and learn about its historical significance.
During the tour, you will also visit a Terracotta Army replica factory, where you will gain insight into how these famous figures are recreated today. This stop offers a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship and techniques behind the original sculptures.
Returning to the city, you will continue exploring its most iconic landmarks. You will visit the impressive City Wall, one of the best-preserved ancient fortifications in China, offering a glimpse into the city’s defensive past. Next, you will head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important Buddhist site closely linked to ancient pilgrimages and the spread of culture and religion.
This experience combines ancient history with architectural landmarks, giving you a deeper understanding of the region’s importance along the historic Silk Road. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel in the afternoon.
