In the past, a wooden drawbridge stood here and was raised each evening to protect the city from unwanted visitors. This is where you'll meet your local guide and set off to explore one of the best-preserved medieval cities on the Adriatic coast.
Stepping into Dubrovnik's Old Town feels like travelling back in time. Cobbled streets, historic squares and centuries-old stone buildings tell the story of the former Republic of Ragusa, a city that flourished as an important centre of trade and culture for centuries.
