Your journey begins in Helsingør, home to Kronborg Castle, made famous as the setting of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. After exploring the castle grounds, you'll have free time to discover the town at your own pace – stroll through the historic centre or walk along the ramparts overlooking the Øresund Strait, which has connected Denmark and Sweden for centuries.
Next, you'll take a ferry to Sweden and visit Lund – one of the country's oldest cities, renowned for its impressive cathedral and one of the oldest universities in Scandinavia. As you explore the historic centre, you'll experience the unique atmosphere of a city that has been an important centre of learning and culture for centuries.
The final stop is Malmö, where history blends seamlessly with modernity. As you explore the city, you'll discover its main attractions, historic squares, and places that showcase the contemporary character of southern Sweden.
The combination of three cities and two Scandinavian countries makes this tour a unique opportunity to discover the diverse character of the Øresund region – from royal history and medieval landmarks to modern cities and the distinctive atmosphere of Scandinavia.
