Program Description
A great opportunity to see the best of Corfu in one day. The road will first take you to the capital Kerkyra, where, among other things, you will see The old Venetian fortress, Spianada - the largest square in the Balkans, the Liston promenade or the church of Saint Spyridon, the patron saint of the island. After the city tour, free time for individual sightseeing (approx. 40 min.). Next, we continue to the Vassilakis family liqueur shop for a tasting of traditional Koumquat liqueur. After that will go to the northwest of the island to the beautiful Paleokastritsa, where you will have the opportunity to take a cruise by boat around the beautiful bays of Paleokastritsa and local caves (optional tour, paid extra). Then a break of about an hour for lunch (not included in the price). This is followed by a ride to the unique Bella Vista viewpoint, and last stop in the village of Alimatades in a shop with local products.

We enjoyed the trip. It was just a bit uncomfortable that we had to change buses twice before we got on the right bus. But that`s probably due to the location of the resort where we were staying. The tour guide was great. She willingly answered our questions. During the bus ride, she told us interesting stories about Corfu. We visited interesting places. The driver was also handy. We liked the cruise in Paleokastritsa the most. It was also nice to be able to buy local products. We would have appreciated some explanation about the production and history in the liqueur shop.
A beautiful trip that will orient the visitor to the island. The guide thoroughly presented its history and took him around the main sights of the city of Kerkyra, Palaiokastritsa is a beautiful indented bay, the boat trip around the coast is truly beautiful. The view of the bay from Lakones is also beautiful. It is a pity that the trip includes three commercial stops: at a liquor distillery, a cafe and a tourist shop with a view of the central mountain range.
