Reviews
The trip was interesting. I was there at the end of September. The boat ride to Balos Bay was exciting. The sea was rough. We were tossed around the entire way (about two hours). There were beautiful views, sunny, but unfortunately, strong winds. But it was still worth it. Then a short cruise to Granvousa Island. It was also sunny and had beautiful views. We could swim in the bay. The boat ride back to Kissamos port. Of course, there were waves and rocking for two hours. That day, the northern part of the island was miserable, with wind and rain. That`s why our coach ride back to the hotel took a long time. Our guide, Beata, was a separate matter. The entire bus ride, she told us interesting facts and encouraged us to visit certain places. We went to Rethymno. The old town, its streets, fortress, and port were very pretty. We also visited a bakery recommended by Beata, and we saw a demonstration of filo pastry making. Very interesting.
beautiful beach, great trip
