The tour was very good; Marta is a great guide. The viewpoint is worth climbing, offering a magnificent view of the beach and palm forest. We had plenty of time on the beach because, unfortunately, the Gorge of the Dead tour was canceled due to very high temperatures. We visited the town of Sita. The monastery we visited boasts a beautiful icon, medieval frescoes, and a radio station from World War II.
The trip was nice, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, such as very high temperatures, the gorge was canceled. We spent more time on the beach. The beach was nice, but not the prettiest. ;) It`s worth seeing, with lots of old palm trees separated from the beach. The water is beautiful, quickly deep, and the views into the sea are beautiful – the island. I`ll say it again: it`s worth seeing and sunbathing. The monastery is small, intimate, and beautiful. Wonderful scenery for photos. The monastery`s surroundings are equally charming. And generally, it was warm... very warm. ;) And the guide, Marta – I`ve heard many, but never one like her. :) A great voice, a wonderful storyteller, a perfect person.
