Program Description

You will begin with a walk through the Viros Gorge – a natural trail surrounded by wild nature and striking rock formations. Next, you will visit the charming village of Proastio, where you will see the Melission fountain. Along the way, you will also discover Byzantine churches and traditional Mani architecture, offering insight into the region’s centuries-old heritage.
In Exochori, you will visit the folklore museum, gaining a deeper understanding of everyday life in the past. It is a perfect opportunity to experience the atmosphere of earlier times and learn more about local culture. A moment of relaxation awaits during a coffee break with mountain views – an ideal chance to unwind and take in the tranquillity of the surroundings.
Your journey continues to Kastania, a small village home to remarkable landmarks such as the Church of St. Peter and the impressive Dourakis Tower.
At the end of the day, you will enjoy a traditional lunch with local wine, served in a picturesque setting. It is the perfect way to conclude a day filled with discoveries, flavours and unforgettable views.
