Program Description
Set off on an unforgettable cruise around the caldera of Santorini and discover places shaped by one of the most famous volcanic eruptions in history. This excursion combines extraordinary landscapes, a swim in natural hot springs and a visit to a peaceful island that was once part of Santorini.
The excursion begins with a transfer to Athinios Port, where you will board a boat and sail towards Nea Kameni. This volcanic island is home to Santorini’s active volcano. After disembarking, you will have the opportunity to follow a path leading to the crater and see up close the geological forces that have shaped the archipelago for centuries.
The cruise then continues to Palea Kameni, known for its natural hot springs. The boat will stop nearby, giving you the chance to swim in the warm, mineral-rich waters or simply relax while admiring the unique views of the caldera.
The next stop is Thirasia, a small island that was part of Santorini before the great volcanic eruption. There will be free time to relax, swim in the sea, enjoy lunch at a seaside taverna or explore the traditional village of Manolas, famous for its whitewashed houses and winding steps.
On the way back, the boat will sail past Oia, one of Santorini’s most iconic villages. From the deck, you will admire spectacular cliffs and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.
After returning to Athinios Port, a transfer will take you back to your original departure point.
