Program Description
Set off on a unique Ocean Safari and discover the fascinating marine world off the coast of Madagascar. This half-day experience combines wildlife watching with expert insights into one of the Indian Ocean's richest marine ecosystems.
During the cruise, you will be accompanied by a marine biologist and a certified guide from the Ceta Mada organisation, specialising in the protection of cetaceans. Their expert knowledge will help you better understand the behaviour, habitats and conservation of the extraordinary marine species living in these waters.
Depending on the season and sea conditions, you may encounter a variety of remarkable wildlife. During the austral winter, the main attraction is the humpback whale, which migrates to the warm waters of Madagascar to breed and give birth. Observations are conducted in accordance with responsible tourism practices and local regulations, ensuring minimal disturbance to these magnificent animals.
The waters around Madagascar are also home to dolphins, which are frequently seen swimming alongside the boat, as well as graceful manta rays and sea turtles, making every cruise a unique wildlife experience.
From around October, humpback whales gradually leave the coast, while another extraordinary visitor arrives – the whale shark, the largest fish in the world. In favourable conditions, you may have the opportunity to snorkel alongside this gentle giant, creating an unforgettable highlight of your trip.
This excursion is the perfect choice for nature lovers who want to combine adventure, education and responsible wildlife observation in one of Madagascar's most spectacular marine environments.
