Program Description

Langkawi impresses with its contrasts – from dramatic mountain landscapes to places steeped in legend. This tour lets you discover the island’s most iconic spots and see it from completely different perspectives.

You will begin with a ride on one of the longest free-span cable cars in Asia. The route, stretching nearly 920 metres, takes you to the top of Mount Mat Cincang, rising about 708 metres above sea level. The journey itself is thrilling, and at the summit, panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and surrounding islands unfold before you. On clear days, you may even spot parts of Thailand and Indonesia. Afterwards, you will head to the charming Oriental Village, where the pace slows down and the atmosphere becomes more relaxed.

You will also get a glimpse into local culture during a visit to a batik factory, where traditional fabrics are created using a wax-resist dyeing technique. It’s a chance to see the craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations.

Next, you will visit the Mahsuri Tomb, a place tied to one of Langkawi’s most famous legends. The story of Mahsuri, filled with drama and mystery, remains an important part of the island’s heritage.

Another stop on the route is Black Sand Beach, known for its unusually dark sand and peaceful setting. It’s a great spot to pause for a moment and take in the coastal scenery.

At the end of the tour, you will see one of Langkawi’s most recognisable landmarks – Eagle Square, featuring a striking 12-metre-high eagle statue, symbolising the island’s name. The day concludes in Kuah Town, where you will have free time for duty free shopping and relaxation.

The order of visits and the programme may change.
