Program Description
You are about to embark on an extraordinary journey into the heart of Mexico's history. You will explore legendary sites in a small group, offering a more personal and authentic experience. This tour is perfect for those who want to learn more about ancient civilisations.
The excursion begins early in the morning at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, a unique place where pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern Mexico meet. Here, you will learn about the fall of the Aztec Empire and understand how different layers of history intertwine in a single location.
Next, you will head to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán. Walking along the legendary Avenue of the Dead, you will uncover the secrets of monumental structures and discover the importance of this city for the ancient peoples of Mesoamerica. You will see the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon up close, while a local guide shares stories that bring these stone ruins to life.
But that’s not all. During the tour, you will also enter a pre-Hispanic cave, a mysterious place filled with legends. Another highlight of the day is a visit to San Martín de las Pirámides, where you will experience local flavours. You will taste traditional Mexican liquors and take a moment to immerse yourself in the everyday life of a small town located at the foot of the pyramids.
