Program Description
Discover the culture, cuisine and heritage of the Maya on a full-day tour through Yucatán. From visiting the picturesque village of Uayma and discovering traditional regional flavours to exploring Chichén Itzá and swimming in the blue waters of a cenote, this experience combines history, local traditions and nature.
Your journey begins with a visit to Uayma, where you will discover the culinary heritage of Yucatán during a unique gastronomic demonstration. Learn more about the traditional use of local plants, vegetables and other ingredients, and discover the distinctive flavours and aromas of regional cuisine. It is a chance to experience Maya culture through culinary traditions passed down through generations.
Next, head to Chichén Itzá, one of the most important cities of the ancient Maya civilisation. Accompanied by bilingual guides, you will learn about the history of this remarkable archaeological site and discover its most important remains.
After sightseeing, enjoy some time to relax at a cenote. Take a refreshing swim in its blue waters and enjoy the unique natural surroundings. The visit also includes the opportunity to experience a zip line, with a safety vest provided.
The programme also includes a buffet lunch, while a box lunch and drinks will be provided during the journey. You will also visit a local artisan village, where you can discover traditional crafts and learn more about the region's cultural heritage.
After the tour, you will return to your hotel or meeting point.

Professional service provided by a local company on site. The tour plan was very well planned, although the travel time was a bit long. Chichén Itza is worth a visit, but the cenote (Noolha) was the biggest attraction 😉
We highly recommend a trip to Chichen Itza. We bought the See Places offer while we were still in Poland via the Internet. We came across a wonderful guide (he asked to be called Gama), he talked about the heritage of the Maya and their culture with great commitment. He must have tried very hard, because he was simultaneously giving a lecture in Spanish and English. Our guide was a person sensitive to the needs of tourists, empathetic, nice, a wonderful person. He answered every question, but did not impose himself when someone tried to rest or sleep. When on the day of the trip we were waiting for the meeting in the wrong place, Gama did not let us down, he did not leave, but made an effort and found us. (We know from the stories of other tourists that this is not the norm in Mexico) The trip with Gama and Miquel (the driver) was a real pleasure for us. Thank you.
