Program Description
Discover one of Mexico's most famous archaeological sites on a full-day excursion to Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fascinating experience offers the opportunity to explore the history and achievements of one of Mesoamerica's greatest civilisations.
During a guided tour, you will visit the ancient city's most impressive monuments, including the iconic Pyramid of Kukulkan (El Castillo) and the Great Ball Court, while learning about their history, symbolism and remarkable architectural design.
After exploring Chichén Itzá, you will continue to a cenote, a natural limestone sinkhole, where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in crystal-clear water surrounded by tropical nature.
The tour continues to the charming colonial town of Valladolid, known for its colourful buildings and relaxed atmosphere. Here, you will enjoy lunch in a historic mansion before having free time to stroll through the town, take photographs and browse local handicraft shops.
