Program Description
What was Amsterdam like during the lifetime of one of the world's greatest painters? Rembrandt Amsterdam Experience takes you back to the 17th century, allowing you to discover the city through the eyes of its most famous resident. This unique 5D experience combines immersive projections, music and special effects to create an unforgettable journey through time.
During the 25-minute experience, you will step inside a faithful reconstruction of Rembrandt's studio on the Rozengracht Canal. It was here that the artist created his final masterpieces. Although the last years of his life were marked by personal and financial difficulties, many of the works from this period are now considered among the finest achievements in the history of art. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, you will explore his workshop and experience the atmosphere of Amsterdam as it was nearly 400 years ago.
This is more than just a story about art. Throughout the experience, you will discover the life of Rembrandt, his family and the people closest to him, gaining a deeper understanding of both his artistic career and personal journey. Dynamic projections and immersive effects bring his story vividly to life, making this a truly engaging attraction.
