Program Description
Combine Dominican history with a Caribbean island escape on an excursion to Altos de Chavón and Catalina Island. This tour offers the perfect mix of cultural heritage, spectacular scenery and unforgettable snorkelling.
Your journey begins at Altos de Chavón, a stone-built replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village overlooking the Chavón River. This picturesque location has served as a filming site for several famous productions, including Apocalypse Now and Rambo II.
You will then cruise to Catalina Island, where you will stop at one of the largest coral reefs in the Caribbean. Enjoy snorkelling among thousands of colourful tropical fish and discover the vibrant marine life beneath the crystal-clear waters.
After snorkelling, relax on the island's beautiful sandy beach, swim in the warm Caribbean Sea or simply unwind in the tropical surroundings.
